INSTRUCTORS
Annette Gryniewicz, Pilates/Yoga Instructor
Annette has been teaching Pilates for 8 years at several health
facilities in Chicago including The Frog Temple in Bucktown. She
is classically trained in the Pilates method, having apprenticed
with Randi Whitman to complete her certification.
Prior to teaching Pilates and Yoga, Annette sat behind a desk
for long hours holding various job titles, ranging from
accounting to computer technical support. While earning her BA
in sociology from Northeastern Illinois University, Annette
continued to struggle with weight and eating related issues,
having once weighed 190lbs. The road to a healthy body and
outlook has been challenging and could not have been possible
without the mind, body and spiritual connection that Yoga and
Pilates have taught her. Both created the framework for inner
and outer transformation.
Having realized the power of Yoga and Pilates to create and
maintain balance in all aspects of life, Annette now passes on
what she was taught. She also continues to build her education
with weekly workshops on anatomy, nutrition, pain management and
massage. The tools for living life to its fullest are available
to all who recognize that the power is within themselves.
