Feeling strong in your core ultimately depends upon a healthy and responsive illiopsoas, or PSOAS. The Psoas is also known as your core hip flexor muscle and is an integral aspect of a centered and functional body.
Unfortunately, when we stand up after sitting for long periods, everything in the front of the body is tight. This is especially true for the Psoas (hip flexors) and will often cause pain and discomfort in various areas of the body upon standing.
As a major player in back pain and knee injuries, it is often the overworked Psoas that disrupts range of motion, as well as digestion and bladder functioning.
Come join us in exploring the significance of this extraordinary muscle. Discover how tuning in to your Psoas can be a body, and life changing experience. In this workshop, we will show you some very effective exercises that will help release the hip flexor so you can begin to experience improved flexibility and better overall health.
Be prepared to exercise! We will start by addressing the feet and move our way up for a very balanced workout for all levels of fitness.
After the Workshop, join us for Mimosas and healthy snacks!
